Good Faith Estimate
Last updated: May 2026
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Your rights under the No Surprises Act
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
Estimated costs for services at Good Psychotherapy Services
The following are standard fees at Good Psychotherapy Services. Your actual costs may vary depending on the services you receive, the number of sessions, and the duration of treatment.
Session fees
- Individual Therapy (50 min): $300 per session
- Intake Session (60–75 min, first session): $450
- Consultation / Parent Coaching (50 min): $300

Estimated annual cost range
The total cost of therapy depends on how long you are in treatment, which is difficult to predict in advance. The following are estimates based on common treatment durations:
- Brief treatment (3–6 months, weekly): approximately $3,600–$7,200
- Moderate-term treatment (6–12 months, weekly): approximately $7,200–$14,400
- Longer-term treatment (12+ months): cost will vary and will be discussed on an ongoing basis
These estimates reflect standard individual therapy rates. Your treatment plan and associated costs will be discussed at your intake session.
Insurance
Good Psychotherapy Services is an out-of-network provider. We do not bill insurance directly. A detailed superbill is provided monthly, which you may submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by plan and are not guaranteed.
Sliding scale
A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available. Please contact Amanda directly to discuss whether a sliding scale arrangement is available and appropriate.
